A local newspaper serving the community leagues of Avonmore, Bonnie Doon, Capilano, Cloverdale, Forest/Terrace Heights, Fulton Place, Gold Bar, Holyrood, Idylwylde, Kenilworth, King Edward Park, Ottewell, & Strathearn.
For approximately 30 years, the Southeast Voice was a trusted source of local news and information delivered throughout Southeast Edmonton. Following the retirement of longtime publisher Hugh Calder at the end of 2025, publication paused while community leaders determined the best path forward. Martinson Publications has now been selected by the Southeast Edmonton Community Leagues Association (SECLA) to continue providing this valuable community service now to roughly 21,000 homes.
Over the next year we will publish 10 issues of the Southeast Edmonton Community Voice (SECV), with our inaugural issue in August of 2026, and the off-months being September and January. Our team will archive digital copies of the SECV here so that readers can continue enjoying previous issues.
Your Community Newspaper is Back!
After a six-month hiatus, the Southeast Voice returns as the Southeast Edmonton Community Voice!
